Otto Scharmer – How To Co-Create With Stakeholders in Your Ecosystem

Otto Scharmer is an action researcher who co-creates innovations in learning and leadership. He is a Senior Lecturer in the MIT Management Sloan School and co-founder of the Presencing Institute. Most recently, Otto and his colleagues launched GAIA (Global Activation of Intention and Action), a free, online, learning journey, geared toward profound civilizational renewal.

In this episode, Otto and I talked about how quality of leadership matters most in times of disruption. This is because when things are uncertain, leaders create clarity and act with purpose to shape the emerging future. We talked about how leaders bring alignment among stakeholders through deep listening and values-clarifying dialogue, and thus shape a better future for an ecosystem.
