This book talks about the essential differences between how men and women lead. Male and female brains differ in structure, blood flow and chemistry which can have an impact on how information is processed. While there are exceptions to the general tendencies, women tend to be more participative and process oriented while men tend to move directly toward their goals. The book is a valuable read as it explains how to bridge communication and perspective between the genders, and help workplaces create diverse teams that work well together. The reason this book resonates with me is that it allows leaders of each gender to better understand and work with the other – and with this understanding women are able to better express themselves so they can be heard.
